When we talk about project management, it is essential that the project manager has an even more careful look at the management of human resources with a clear view on the allocation of teams, work to be carried out and pencipally on tasks.
To help the project manager manage his resources, MLPro has developed a report called Calendar, where we will demonstrate how powerful he can be in planning and monitoring the tasks of his work team.
This report was developed using Power BI and is part of the MLPro basic reporting installation package.
The report allows filters to be made by resource, program, timeline type or project name. The time line type is a custom PWA field that allows you to select different types of timelines you want to view. The content of this field can be customized, where we could have a timeline called “meetings” and thus, by selecting it the project manager can check all the meetings planned in a given period.
The calendar will display tasks in different colors according to the task time line type.
Depending on the need, the person responsible can check the activities by viewing the activities of the Month.
In addition, it is also possible to select the activities of the week.
We also have the possibility of viewing through a list of tasks.
This report also has the display per year.
The dates of the tasks displayed in the calendar are shown according to end date of activity. In this case, if an activity has a start date of 28/12 and end date of 09/01 the report will show this activity on 09/01.
With this report, the project manager will have greater visibility on the tasks of the team and can plan new projects or monitor the execution and closure of tasks with greater assertiveness.
Activity and calendar control provides an additional solution for project resource management, from initial planning to monitoring and completion of tasks. By taking advantage of the report's features, those responsible can guarantee deadlines, optimize resource use and maintain efficiency at all stages of the project.
